What are Bailiffs
Bailiffs are court-authorised officers who enter a property with a view to seizing goods and items as payment for a debt. The seized items are sold via a Bailiff Auction, and the funds raised are put towards the cost of the action as well as your credit.
When are Bailiffs used?
When a debtor has items of sufficient value to cover the balance, such as a vehicle, stock or valuable equipment, and they have not complied with a county court judgement that instructing them to settle the balance.
