Debt Recovery

Business Debt collection

The old way

Debt Recovery Agencies historically work using ‘cycles’ – Pre-designed generic letter and phone-call scripts that essentially run debtors through a gauntlet of every possible legal repercussion possible in the hope that one of these ‘threats’ resonates and they pay.

 We don’t believe in being generic.

Our way

We believe every case is different, and every collection needs to be similarly unique. From submission to recovery, each debt goes through 3 stages;

  1.  Our one generic letter is sent to the debtor, advising who we are, our involvement in the case and the actions you have authorised us to potentially take. This letter is a requirement and must be sent prior to us taking any recovery action. Occasionally, this letter is enough to recover the debt, although this is rare. We immediately begin a full debtor profile, taking into account a range of sources from credit checks through to your own history with the debtor.
  2.  An initial strategy is created and, depending on the debtor’s circumstance, the case is passed onto either the Debt Recovery, Litigation or Court enforcement teams. At this stage, any debts that are unrecoverable (for example, because the debtor is recently bankrupt) are passed back, with no cost incurred in line with our no-win, no-fee commitment.
  3. All Our Debt Recovery agents are experienced, and our employment philosophy is to ‘recruit the best and reward them more than our competitors’.  As a result, our staff are highly skilled, and have the combined experience of thousands of successful recoveries which they can draw on to help get your money back.

Because we take the time to properly profile each case, we don’t waste resources on ineffective strategies, enabling us to identify and support debtors in unfortunate circumstances while escalating ‘Professional bad debtors’ straight to the most effective forms of enforcement action.

As well as being highly effective, our approach is also highly efficient, meaning we can offer a no-win, no-fee debt recovery service without cutting corners or sacrificing quality.
